How people are managed makes the biggest difference to how much your employees are engaged, and certainly the numbers: 70% of the variance across business units, regardless of industry, company size or location. Also, only 14% of CEOs have the leadership talent to execute their strategy, according to a recent EY forecast.
Unfortunately, Gallup studies indicate that only about one in 10 people possess the talent to manage in a way that significantly improves a company's performance. Besides the 1 in 10 with the talent, another two in 10 people show some characteristics of basic managerial talent and can perform at a high level if their company invests in coaching and developmental plans for them. The Impact: combined, they contribute about 48% higher profit to their companies than average managers do, Gallup finds.
Unfortunately, most training is money wasted: it is estimated that only 20-30% of all training is actually used on-the-job one month after it is taken. This means that most training is ineffective, poorly planned and implemented.
Crestcom training is different: it creates lasting behavioral change, and measurable impact on revenues, productivity, and costs. On average, participants say the ROI exceeds 640%. Why? It's largely our unique process. For over 30 years Crestcom has been developing managers into leaders with our award winning program, The Bullet Proof Manager. The proven methodology will enable your leaders to develop the 10 key leadership core competencies while implementing regular action plans resulting in a measurable ROI.

How to Create a Culture of Trust in Your Organization

Societal, institutional and organizational trust is at an all-time low. The 2021 Edelman Trust Barometer survey of more than 33,000 people in 28 countries reveals a significant decline in trust in institutions and found that most respondents believed that both government and business leaders purposefully mislead people on a regular basis.  This lack of trust is bad news for managers. In his research on the neuroscience of trust, Paul J Zak found that employees in high trust organizations are 50% more productive, report 74% less stress and 106% more energy at work than their low trust counterparts. They also report more engagement, less burnout, and take fewer sick days. Join host Jenn DeWall as she explains how to establish trust as a leader, rebuild trust once it is damaged, and create a culture of trust from the front line workers to the C-Suite.

The Leadership Mindset: Cultivating a Growth Mindset for Success

A leader’s mindset will greatly affect how they face a crisis, manage change and create strategy for the future. A person’s mindset influences how they view themselves and the world around them and can create self-imposed limitations. Mindset can mean the difference between success and failure. What one leader sees as a threat, another may see as an opportunity for learning. Everyone views the world through the filter of their own minds, and it is important to be aware of how mindset impacts behavior, choices, and outcomes. Likewise, it is important to know that mindsets can change and be cultivated and developed with intention and practice.
