Mike resides in Thornbury, Ontario with his wife Vickey. In his career he has been recognized as a dedicated, entrepreneurial leader with strong management and leadership skills.
As President & General Manager of Fleetguard Canada he took charge of a start-up operation with marginal profile, market share, sales and built the company to being a market leader in Canada, as well as a corporate role model within the International Fleetguard group of entities. During his time with Fleetguard Mike was asked on a consultative basis to help similar Fleetguard profit centers in Mexico, Europe and Australia grow their multi-channel distribution business.
Later Mike was recruited to join Navistar International Corporation Canada. Mike took on the role of Vice President for the Canadian company. Successes he had as Vice President were to design and implement exercises, programs and processes to affect the integration of the organization in co-ordination with key representatives from the dealer body.An aspect of Mike’s role was to lead the design and implementation of the company’s strategic planning process which was a significant task for this billion dollar business.
Currently, Mike is the Area Developer for Crestcom in Ontario and responsible for nurturing the existing franchisees as well as generating growth in the Canadian market. Crestcom is multi-million dollar employee development organization focused on making good people great managers and business leaders. As well, Mike is a sought after speakerin a number ofareas concerning leadership, motivation and employee engagement.
