Qualification & Accreditations
Martin recently graduated from Cambridge University after successfully studying Coaching and Psychodynamics. To support this he also holds numerous leadership and coaching certifications including awards from the Institute of Directors, the European Coaching Foundation and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Professional Experience
Martin has been leading and managing teams since the age of 20 at some of the world’s best-known organisations. He spent his early career with fast-food giant McDonald’s where he gained a degree in Hamburgerology and went on to become one of the Deans of the company’s prestigious operations and training department where he helped develop their award-winning leadership academy. Following this, he held several directorships with large multi-nationals predominantly in the hospitality and leisure industries including three years as CEO of a large national foodservice company. His last corporate position was as Commercial Director with Johnson Service Group PLC and Ftse 350 company where I was heavily involved in mergers and acquisitions.
For the last 12 years, he has run his professional coaching and training practice which offers leadership training in partnership with Crestcom International and the ILM via a 12-month level 5 programme. He also practises as an Executive, Team and Business coach and is an approved Growth Accelerator coach with Grant Thornton. Notable clients include Sony PlayStation, John West Foods, Thwaites and the NHS.
