United States Leadership Training Expert
Jon began Class V Leadership based on his growing passion for servant leadership during a thirty-plus year career as a leader and as an individual contributor in large corporations. Over those years, he has worked with true leaders and others who were simply managers. The true leaders have had a profound and lasting impact on his professional and personal life. He wants to help develop more leaders!
Much of his career has been spent in software and technology so he still finds those areas fun and fascinating. While he is most familiar with insurance and telecommunications, he has found that real leadership is tied to no particular industry and the core skills espoused by Crestcom are perfectly aligned to developing managers into leaders.
His part-time vocations have included teaching at Merrimack College and guiding whitewater rafting trips on big water (the origin of "Class V").
Jon and his lovely wife, Robin, are proud to serve the great state of New Hampshire. They have four sons, a beautiful granddaughter, and make their home in the idyllic, historic town of Atkinson.
Jon holds a bachelor's degree in Math & Physics from Houghton College, a master's degree in Computer Science from Florida Tech and a master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado.
