Bio Picture: Doha Melhem
Doha Melhem is the President of Pivotal Leadership & Training Inc., an affiliate company of Pivotal Research where she holds a leadership role, and an authorized partner of Crestcom International in the Edmonton and Northern Alberta regional market. Doha is a leadership development expert and a seasoned facilitator who works with executives and managers to transform them into great leaders.
Doha currently oversees five Alberta-based Crestcom leadership sessions in coordination with other Crestcom regional operators, managing a portfolio of nearly 60 managers across Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Houston, Texas. She facilitates coaching sessions with more than 30 leaders from diverse sectors, including engineering, home and road construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, environmental assessment, air cargo, municipal government, and professional regulatory bodies.
With a career spanning two decades across government, non-profit, and business in Canada and the United States—along with a life journey that took her across seven countries and four continents—Doha has honed a leadership style rooted in authenticity and servant leadership.
Her path to Crestcom was shaped by years of consulting and research, advising organizations on market expansion, client growth, and innovation. She would often pinpoint where changes were needed and present data-driven insights to support them. But time and again, she saw that acting on those insights depended entirely on the presence—or absence—of strong leadership and decision-making. Recognizing this gap led her to Crestcom, where she now helps organizations develop leaders who can turn strategy into action and drive meaningful impact.
Doha is the current Chair of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce Development and Attraction Policy Committee and a partner of the Canadian Network of Agencies of Regulation. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University.
