Why we should all be crestcoming in our careers and in our personal lives to achieve our true potential for excellence.
When I heard about Crestcom from a friend, one of my first thoughts was, “Huh. I wonder where a name like ‘Crestcom’ comes from?” Later, I was brought onboard with the Crestcom team and really began to experience the true environment of a collaborative team, working completely toward a common goal. Shortly thereafter, a colleague of mine coined and defined “Crestcoming”. The definition is so perfect, so eloquent and impactful that I knew we couldn’t just keep it internal.
After all, I truly believe that no matter where you are or what you are doing, your actions contribute to your personal, professional, and organizational growth. And those actions are what collaboratively, with your team, can get you to the peak of your potential productivity and excellence.
Crest-com-ing (verb)
Origin:
Crest: The highest part of a hill or mountain range; summit.
com: Prefix meaning with, together, in association, and (with intensive force) completely.
Definition:
Crestcom is working together, in association with, to reach a summit. Crestcoming defines the actions we do as a team: united, with one vision, one success upon another, to achieve the highest level of organizational, individual, and team growth while taking the time to celebrate these achievements!
