GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Crestcom International, LLC is pleased to announce one of its newest franchisees: Laurie Cusic. She joins the Crestcom network as an authorized licensee, delivering leadership development programs in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Laurie has more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and consumer product industries, as well as 15 years in training. She has held a variety of positions, including sales, sales management, account management, training, and contract sales organization (CSO) training, learning, and development. Laurie’s corporate roles include National Sales Director for Galen US Pharmaceutical Company, Senior Director of Training and Development for Ashfield Healthcare, and North American Regional Learning Manager for Pfizer (Training Magazine, Top 125 Hall of Fame Company).
Laurie is a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst. She achieved many professional certifications, including Situational Leadership® II, Influence, Crucial Conversations®, Targeted Selection®, Transformational Coaching, 7 Habits for Managers™, DDI’s Interaction Management®: Exceptional Leaders and Business Impact Leadership®, DISC and Values, and others.
Laurie’s passion for management and leadership development derives from her desire to help people make a successful transition to management. Typically, people earn promotions for excellent performance in their contributor role. However, skills for effective management and leadership vastly differ. Management promotions are difficult career transitions, yet management development is often overlooked. Laurie helps individuals and companies prevent workplace issues, helping them develop into outstanding leaders. Laurie is also passionate about her family. Laurie and her husband have a son at home, a daughter attending Temple University, and a son in the United States Marine Corps. They have seven pets and her in-laws at home. They lovingly refer to themselves as the Crazy Cusic Circus. Born and raised in Seattle, Laurie and her husband are die-hard Seahawks and Mariners fans. Since Philadelphia is a major sports town, they also love the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, Flyers, and Union.
